About OUR EARLY INTERVENTION DIRECTOR

Marcela Solano is a  Special Education graduate with a Master in Educational Psychology from the Interamerican University of Costa Rica, and a degree in Early Childhood Education from the Florida International University.

With more than 25 years of experience in different classroom settings, she led an Early Intervention program in the University of Miami’s Debby School working with children with special needs, supporting them in their developmental areas and doing the appropriate arrangements to place them in the public school system. In the last couple of years, She also conducted the Toots Program at a Pediatric Center, where we focused primarily on developing the children’s sensory skills.

As a professional in the education field, she truly believes that early childhood intervention services can change a child developmental path and improve the quality of life for the children and their families. By providing an adequate intervention, we give the children the opportunity to foster all their personal strengths and prepare them for a successful adult life.

She is certified in the Denver Start Early Model.
