Our unique program provides a whole-child approach
to help children succeed in school and in life.
Behavioral intervention helps ensure that children achieve their academic
and social goals by encouraging positive behaviors in the classroom and at home.
Our comprehensive approach focuses on creating a tailored treatment plan according to the child’s diagnosis and specially considering the child’s areas of strengths, interests, and areas for improvement.
We provide behavioral interventions in the natural context. That is, we work with the child at school or home, while he or she having behavioral challenges.
We are eager to build a team between therapist-parents-school, to let children reach their full potential. We work closely with parents to provide strategies to implement at home, and with teachers to provide recommendations for accommodations in the classroom and to make sure the behavioral interventions are implemented while the therapist is not present.
We use a Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) approach, ABA, GreenSpan Floortime Approach, The Early Start Denver Model, and cognitive behavioral interventions, according to the needs of each child.
We make sure to work on the child’s emotional, social, language, and/or sensory needs that may impact the child’s behavior.
CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS:
Children who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Defiant Disorder, Verbal Social Communication Disorder, or the like.
We also work with children who may not have a specific diagnosis but still need help on improving social interaction or behaviors at home or school.
It provides diagnosis such as Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, Dyscalculia, Language Disorders, among others.
PARENTS:
Parents can rely on having a specialist at home or school dedicated to understanding the child’s behavioral needs and providing interventions with the child and recommendations for parents and teachers to implement with the child.
TEACHERS:
When the child works with us, we are eager to have fluent communication with the teacher so as to build a great team to let the child succeed in school.
Teachers feel confident that they have a support system outside of the classroom that aligns with their expectations and goals.
Our Director administers a screening or full developmental assessment based on the child’s needs.
